Clean Energy Business Council (CEBC)'s Women in Clean Energy (WICE) and Canada's Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) Signing Ceremony
15 July 2020. CBC Abu Dhabi supported the webinar and signing ceremony of the WiRE/Women in Renewable Energy, Canadian NGO, and the CEBC/Clean Energy Business Council, a MENA regional NGO based in Abu Dhabi. The agreement supports the UAE to advance its renewable/clean energy objectives as well as gender agenda. The event celebrated the signing of their partnership and also featured interesting speakers, all female leaders in Renewable Energy sector from the UAE and from Canada.
UAE Cabinet Reshuffle Appoints New Ministers and Merges Departments

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, merged ministries and departments in a Cabinet reshuffle on Sunday in a drive to create a more agile government. For the fourth year in row, the United Arab Emirates is leading the MENA region in the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook 2020, issued by the World Competitiveness Centre of the World Institute for Management Development, IMD, in Lausanne, Switzerland, which puts the UAE at 9th place among the most competitive countries in the world. Expansion of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children in Abu Dhabi to include total of 33 NICU beds
23 June 2020. United Eastern Medical Services (UEMedical) has announced the expansion of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children in Abu Dhabi. The 20 million AED expansion included the addition of 18 advanced beds in accordance with the highest international specifications, of which 11 beds are categorized as level III. The new total available beds now have increased to 33 beds, which makes the unit one of the largest neonatal intensive care units in Abu Dhabi. READ MORE.
