The Emirates Defense Companies Council (EDCC), supported by the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of the UAE, is mandated to be the primary communication platform between industry players both local and international, as well as strategic government stakeholders. The Council aims to facilitate effective networking and partnership development, and promotion of UAE businesses abroad through the UAE Pavilion. It also seeks to enable dialogue and open business channels between the industry and various stakeholders, including the MOD and the UAE Armed Forces, ministries and other government bodies, infrastructure sector, academia, foreign companies and international organizations representing the defense sector.
