Speaker:

Hamad Saif Belmahaina is the ICV Development Manager in Commercial Directorate of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). In his role, as Chairman of Certification Bodies Council, Mr. Belmahaina is responsible for the smooth implementation and monitoring of the company’s In-Country Value (ICV) program. In addition, part of his role is to monitor and coordinate the ADNOC appointed ICV certifying bodies.  Mr. Belmahaina has over 12 years’ experience in the Audit field, starting his career in the Financial Audit Department, Dubai. He joined ADNOC in 2014 as an Senior Internal Auditor, before moving to Group Procurement in 2018. He graduated with a Master degree of applied finance & Banking, from University of Wollongong, UAE.

Rami AbuLaila, Vice President, Business Development for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). A leader at the forefront of the energy and sustainability industry, where he has leveraged his extensive experience and expertise spanning strategic planning, industry analysis, operations management, business development and value assurance, to play a key role in the conceptualization, development, and launch of innovative energy initiatives in Abu Dhabi. Possessing a complementary background and superior track record of achievement, Rami’s career history showcases rapid evolution into roles of enterprise-level scope and global impact. As one of the start-up team of Masdar, from 2005 to 2014, Rami was an instrumental contributor to initiative development and portfolio management across the group. With continued success in each role within the renewable energy organization, he was promoted to Head of Strategy and Portfolio Management, serving as one of the principal architects of short- and long-range strategy, portfolio performance management and investment lifecycle governance. He then lead the complex responsibility of designing and realizing Masdar's "Special Projects" profit center. In early 2014, Rami was reappointed to Mubadala to help build the Energy asset management platform, where he last served as Associate Director. His experience also includes serving as a member of the Sheikh Zayed Future Energy Prize selection committee as well as the Masdar executive, operating and tender committees. Today, Rami is professionally committed to the ADNOC Group, initially serving the Chief Executive Office and more recently its Marketing, Supply and Trading Directorate's business development team. Prior to joining Mubadala, Rami was integral in the success of CCC Underwater Engineering in Abu Dhabi, 3H Inc. of Dallas, Zilliant in Austin, and what is now Schlumberger Artificial Lift in Bartlesville. He served a short internship at NPCC in Abu Dhabi and his first work experience was with the University of Texas at Austin's Recreation Center, as a lifeguard.

Salman Sajid, Executive Director, ICV Practice Leader, Baker Tilly 

Mr. Sajid is working as Executive Director in Advisory, and his responsibilities include effective and efficient assignment planning, execution and delivery, keeping in view company standards. He is currently leading the ICV Practice. He has been instrumental in designing and implementing both programs with a portfolio of 1,900 clients. Salman Sajid is Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant in England and Wales and Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
