The Canadian Business Council (CBC) Abu Dhabi is pleased to support the live webinar, DIFC Data Protection Law - Countdown to Compliance hosted by CBC Dubai and Northern Emirates in collaboration with Gowling WLG.

Unlike when the GDPR came into effect on 25 May 2018, the DIFC Data Protection Law has a short compliance window with a deadline of 1 October 2020 for full compliance by those companies and business activities it applies to.

Are you:

  1. A DIFC incorporated company Processing Personal Data, or
  2. A company (not incorporated in the DIFC) processing Personal Data in the DIFC as part of your regular business activities, or
  3. Do you have people physically located in the DIFC who conduct the Processing?
