The Canadian Business Council Abu Dhabi in collaboration with emltc Ltd. is organizing a webinar on the "Recent Developments in Regional Headquarters policies in the Middle East."

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) recently announced that foreign investors must set-up their Middle East regional headquarters by 2024 in the Kingdom to access in governmental tenders. This is a significant shift in policies and will have an impact on investors who chose the United Arab Emirates as their preferred regional hub.

Dr. Constantin Frank-Fahle, LL.M., Attorney-At-Law (Germany), is a Founding Partner of emltc Ltd. (Abu Dhabi). He practised law in Jakarta (Indonesia), Berlin and Munich (Germany), Bangkok (Thailand), and Dubai. Among other activities, he advises companies on their legal and tax-related strategies concerning investing in the Middle East, East Africa and South Asia and complying with local content policies (ICV, IKTVA, etc.). He is a frequent conference speaker and author on topics such as local content policies, multi-jurisdictional disputes, and strategic negotiations (shareholder and commercial agency disputes). He also is a lecturer in international business law at the International School of Management (ISM, Cologne, Germany).
