The Canadian Business Council (CBC) Abu Dhabi in collaboration with the Tutor Doctor is organizing a live webinar regarding "Strategies for Students to Excel at Remote Learning".

With Education having shifted to Remote Learning (Virtual Learning) across many Schools and Universities as a result of the Pandemic, many students today are faced with adapting and understanding how to operate within the Remote Learning system. The Pandemic has disrupted education for 1.6 billion children across the Global over the past year and has shifted traditional classroom learning to Remote Learning. To ensure that Students are able to excel within the new model of learning it is crucial that they understand how to develop effective strategies to excel at Remote Learning.

Speakers:


Ehab Fedel is working as Executive for Strategy & Business Development at Tutor Doctor Education (TD UAE) and has over 15 years of experience in the areas of Public Sector and Infrastructure Business Advisory. Ehab completed major Projects and Initiatives during his work with Accenture, GE and Siemens. His experience includes providing advisory and consulting services to clients across a variety of industries including Education, Infrastructure and Technology across the Middle East, Africa and North America regions.


Dr. Soulafa Al-Khatib is currently working as an Academic Advisor and also as an Education Consultant in Dubai, UAE. She is also a researcher and writer of different articles in educational leadership, curriculum, assessment and quality assurance. She has a PhD degree in Education and extensive years of experience in Educational Management, Leadership and Policies in the MENA region. She has worked with numerous International Schools and Education Institutions across various Curricula and School Stages.


Suraj Khatri is Head of Operations at Tutor Doctor Education (TD UAE). Suraj is a seasoned business and process professional with more than 10 years’ experience in leading engagements across due diligence, big data analytics, risk advisory umbrella - internal audits, drafting policy for the Education sector, advising Universities on risk assessment and control testing. Suraj is a Qualified Public accountant from Australia, and a Member of Institute of Financial Accountants (UK). He Graduated from HR College of Commerce and Economics.

Brij Bali is the President & CEO of International Talent Hub Inc., a Canadian consulting organization focused on International Education, Global Investments, Canada-UAE Partnerships and Innovative Strategic Initiatives across the MENA region and Canada. With over 30 years of senior management experience in the corporate, higher education and non-profit sectors, Brij was a recent CBC Abu Dhabi Board Director and Vice Chair for several years and has held senior roles at the Emirates Foundation and the Higher Colleges of Technology in the UAE. He is passionate about helping others and very active in youth talent development and innovations within the volunteering arena locally and globally.
