Communities of Interest (COI): Energy Sector Meeting

The Canadian Business Council (CBC) Abu Dhabi is organizing a Communities of Interest (COI): Energy Sector Meeting.

This exclusive event is a gathering of CBC Abu Dhabi members and invited guests from the Energy sector to discuss pressing issues and how to collaborate and work together for mutual benefits.

Agenda of the meeting:

1. Welcome and introductions
2. Summary/Refresher on the mandate and objectives of the COI (this would basically be a summary of the four bullets above);
3. Embassy update
4. Information sharing: 
   • UAE Energy strategy 2050  & the proposed energy consumption mix
   • Oil and low carbon investment go side by side in Abu Dhabi.

1. Roundtable discussion of the attendees (including overview of their own companies’ plans for ADIPEC and Expo and pain points).
2. Summary of action items arising from points 1. to 5. above.
