Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Dear CBC members,

Book your calendar for the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Canadian Business Council (CBC) Abu Dhabi on Monday, 28 February 2022 at 6:30pm-8:00pm at Bab Al Qasr Hotel for the following purposes:

1. Report from the Board of Directors on activities in the past year.
   
2. Receive the annual financial accounts and accompanying audit report from the auditors and, if deemed advisable, to approve the financial accounts. Please click here to view the financial audit report. (For CBC members only. Please login to access the report.)
3. Elect new members of the Board of Directors to fill five (5) vacant positions.

Election Procedure:

Election of the Board of Directors shall be done by simple majority of the Paying Members present or by proxy at the Annual General Meeting on Monday, 28 February 2022 at Bab Al Qasr Hotel.

Pursuant to the CBC's Constitution, only members in good standing (i.e. who have paid their membership fees up to 28 February 2022) are entitled to vote at the Annual General Meeting.

Proxy:

Members who are entitled to vote but cannot be present may appoint a proxy to vote and attend in their place. Please fill in the PROXY FORM and submit to the Election Committee at: admin@cbcabudhabi.com
