Organized by the Embassy of Canada in the United Arab Emirates (The Trade Commissioner Service), the Business-to-Business (B2B) Networking Program during ADIPEC will help Canadian companies establish and develop business relationships in the UAE, through market and technical briefings, and a comprehensive B2B program, including pre-arranged meetings with decision makers at National Oil Companies in the region, government agencies, supply chain and potential local partners.

3.   How do I arrange a meeting?

The Canadian Business Council (CBC) Abu Dhabi, the Service Provider, will arrange the meetings for you either by in-person or by zoom. Or you may start liaising directly with the company you want to meet – the contact details have been provided in the company profile under the Canadian and Middle East companies tabs.

4.    How do I know who I should meet?

You should review the profiles under the tabs and select carefully who you would like to meet.  All companies have been asked to provide a brief paragraph to enable a good overview. Profiles will be updates on a daily basis as clients feed in, so please revisit the page regularly.

5.    Where can we meet?

In-person Meeting: There will be small meeting tables on the Canadian participants lounge on the Pavilion but we would encourage you to host the meeting at your own booth if you have one or on the client stand.  There will however also be slots available at the Canadian booth to host the meeting.

Zoom Meeting: CBC Abu Dhabi, the Service Provider, will arrange the zoom meeting for you. 

    6.    I’m having difficulty getting a meeting with ADNOC, can you help?

    They will not be participating in the B2B program. Please bear in mind that ADNOC is a huge organisation who general purchase through the partners that you will be meeting in the B2B program.

    7.    Will it be possible to arrange a meeting with the Regional Trade Commissioners?

    Yes, you can set up a meeting with them during this period of time as well.  You can arrange the meeting the same way as with a client.

    8.    Is there a limit to how many meetings I can set up?

    You will be allowed to initially book five meetings and depending on meeting space availability, you may be able to book more.

    9. What is the cost of this program?

    The program is free to all Canadian companies registered with the Trade Commissioner Service.

    10.    If I’m having any issues setting up meetings, what should I do?
